DGD

The Belgian Development Cooperation (Directorate General for Development – DGD), through a collaboration with the Institute of Tropical Medicine (link to ITG website) (Antwerp, Belgium), has been supporting the Cotonou SRL in its reference activities at the national and international level since 1998. The objective of the agreement between the SRL of Cotonou and the Institute of Tropical Medicine is the institutional strengthening of the SRL. More specifically, the strengthening focuses on routine diagnosis and research on tuberculosis, biosafety, administrative management, quality management, and reference activities at the national and international level. This support has funded the doctoral degrees of several members of the SRL team.
